URGENT: There Is a Slim Chance!

Details

Constitutional Law Professor David Forte was quoted and cited by Chief Justice Roberts in Obergefell v. Hodges — the case that required all states to legalize counterfeit marriage that was illegally decided by the US Supreme Court on June 26.  He along with 35 pastors and leaders met with Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine for about two hours on July 10th. DeWine heard the legal arguments for filing a Motion for Rehearing and fight with all he had to reverse this decision.  On Thursday he announced he would not!

These four states’ Attorneys General have legal standing to file a Motion for Rehearing since they were named in the lawsuit:  Ohio AG Mike DeWine; Michigan AG Bill Schuette, Tennessee AG Herbert Slatery and Kentucky AG Jack Conway.   Each has received a copy of Forte’s legal memo outlining the need to file a Motion to Rehear the marriage case.
