Two Republicans have endorsed so-called same-sex “marriage” in recent days — Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) and Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL). Kirk became the fiftieth US Senator to announce support for so-called same-sex “marriage” — 48 Democrats and 2 Republicans.

April 2, 2013 // 6 CommentsYesterday, Senator Bob Casey, Jr. took another step away from the strong pro-family stands his dad took and announced his endorsement of so-called same-sex “marriage” and his rejection of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. He now joins an increasing number of Democrats who have succumbed to pressure from the homosexual lobby to renounce God-ordained one man one woman marriage. To be perfectly honest, his decision does not come as a surprise. Since his endorsement by the homosexual lobby group Human Rights Campaign back in 2006, he has never been someone we could depend upon to oppose the normalization of homosexuality.

In one fell swoop Senator Bob Casey, Jr. rejected real marriage, embraced counterfeit same-sex “marriage,” thus rejecting the teachings of the Catholic Church. He has now completed the “evolution” of so many Democrats who have turned their backs on the majority of their constituents and have leaped over the cliff and into the unknown territory or redefining society’s foundation block, noted the statewide traditional values group, American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA).

Action Alert: Dangerous Bill Introduced in the State Senate
March 21, 2013 // 2 CommentsSenator Andrew Dinniman has introduced SB 32 which would require a school district to report to the county Children & Youth Services any children who are homeschooled or in a cyber school. Children & Youth Services, in turn, would be required to do a risk assessment in the home of all these children. This is being introduced as a means to protect children from abusive situations, but in reality it is just another way for the government to intrude into the lives of parents who do not want their children in public school. So . . . will Children and Youth be looking into whether the parents own a gun, whether there are “too many” kids in the home, will the government require each child have their own bedroom?? Just what will the nosy government agency be looking for?

Franklin County Alert: Chambersburg Area SD
March 15, 2013 // 1 CommentThe end of February the Chambersburg Area School District (CASD) board made the right decision and voted down a Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) club – the vote was 5-4. Since that time they have been under attack from the ACLU and the homosexual group Equality PA. In addition a petition has been started on George Soros-funded change.org by a 2010 graduate of CASD and it has garnered 6,000 signatures from around the country demanding that the board allow the GSA.

On Friday April 19, 2013 the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is once again exploiting public schools to promote homosexuality and gender confusion as moral and normative through the political protest called the Day of Silence.
A coalition of pro-family groups* is urging parents to keep their children home from school on the “Day of Silence,” if your school is allowing students to refuse to speak in class.
