Action Alert: Why Did Senators Casey and Toomey Vote to Repeal Bestiality Ban?
December 8, 2011 // 0 CommentsLast Thursday Pennsylvania’s US Senators Bob Casey, Jr. and Pat Toomey joined the majority of their fellow Senators and voted ‘yea’ on the National Defense Authorization Act. Since they’ve passed the bill, now we can know what’s in it! It was found that on page 174 of the bill there is a repeal of Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. A repeal of this article will permit sodomy and bestiality in the military.
Action Alert: No Prayer at World World II Memorial
December 7, 2011 // 0 CommentsCongressman Bill Johnson (R-OH) is the lead sponsor of HR 2070, the World War II Memorial Prayer Act of 2011. During a congressional hearing last month the Obama administration announced its objection to this bill which ” . . . direct(s) the Secretary of the Interior to install in the area of the World War II Memorial in the District of Columbia a suitable plaque or an inscription with the words that President Franklin D. Roosevelt prayed with the Nation on June 6, 1944, the morning of D-Day.” So . . . the President opposes this!

Action Alert: Update on SB 732
November 22, 2011 // 0 CommentsThe delay in House action on SB 732 has been to attempt to make some reasonable accommodation of the State Senate’s position on the bill. House Floor Leader Mike Turzai said the House was attempting to make such an accommodation to avoid delaying SB 732 even further. Because when passed in the House and sent to the Senate they could amend SB 732 and thereby send it to a conference committee with even more delays than what have been occurring.

One of our church members confirmed that Arise was responsible for this ad, and was told that Arise has made its mission to drive our ministry, and me personally, out of Springfield.
Action Alert: Will DOMA Repeal Be Attached to Defense Bill?
November 16, 2011 // 0 CommentsWord out of Washington, DC indicate that Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senator Dianne Feinstein, sponsor of S 598, will attach it to the Defense Authorization Act. This is the annual bill which funds our military! Remember S598 is the bill which would overturn the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). It was just voted out of the Senate Judiciary Committee along party lines last Thursday and now liberal Democrats are trying to attach it to a must pass bill.
Action Alert: Will Toomey and Casey Support DOMA?
November 10, 2011 // 0 CommentsSenator Dianne Feinstein’s S598 is not a bill that respects marriage, but rather one that would throw out the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). It is on the Senate Judiciary Committee calendar for a vote during their Executive Business Meeting beginning at 10:00 a.m. today. If it is voted out of committee, it will then go before the entire Senate for a vote. No Pennsylvanians are on the committee, but the majority Democrats are all very liberal and support the bill so there is a very good chance it will be voted out.
