Friday, April 21st is the homosexual Day of Silence – a day the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network has set aside to further normalize homosexuality and transgenderism in our nation’s public schools. Will your child’s school permit students and/or teachers to refuse to speak during instructional time?
Transgender activists and PA Physician General, Dr. “Rachel” Levine,” is not pleased that President Trump has rescinded Obama’s bathroom edict that demanded public schools open their bathrooms, locker and shower rooms to the opposite sex. In fact, he took part in an “emergency” roundtable discussion to discuss the dilemma.
Tonight the Johnstown City Council voted 4-2 to table Amendment 5 to Ordinance 4174. Council members John Williams, Pete Vizza, Charlene Stanton and Marie Mock courageously voted to table this dangerous amendment, which would add ‘sexual orientation and gender identity or expression’ to the existing non-discrimination ordinance. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocate for the natural family and for the preservation of privacy rights, took part in a news conference prior to the City Council vote expressing concerns which included real examples of what has happened in other places that have added ‘sexual orientation and gender identity or expression’ to its ordinances.
Disney continues its path down the ‘gay highway.’ The soon to be released cinematic remake of Beauty and the Beast includes a gay subplot! There is no question that our children are being targeted with the message that ‘gay is okay’ and the Disney Corporation is 100% on board with the indoctrination.
President Trump has promised to issue an executive order protecting religious freedom. As Christians are being hauled into court because they refuse to use their God-given talents to participate in a ‘gay wedding,’ the need for this executive order is greater now than ever.
The school board of Pine Richland School District made a commonsense decision last September when they voted to require students to use either the restrooms that corresponds with their biological sex or use single-occupancy ‘unisex’ restrooms. Yesterday’s decision by a federal judge declaring the civil rights of three students who identify as transgender were violated is wrong and creates the potential risk of biological boys to similarly begin identifying as “transgender girls” in order to gain access to the private facilities of girls.
Late yesterday President Trumps’s Department of Education and Department of Justice sent a “Dear Colleague” letter to every school district in the nation rescinding the outrageous Obama “Dear Colleague” letter that reinterpreted Title IX and was designed to force school districts to open their bathrooms, locker and shower facilities to whomever.
Yesterday a Hazleton man turned himself into the police after allegedly filming women and children in the women’s restroom at his place of employment. This situation raises several issues including the danger of adding “gender identity or expression” to Pennsylvania’s anti-discrimination law — the Human Relations Act. For years the American Family Association (AFA of PA), a statewide pro-decency organization, has condemned the addition of such language.
President Trump’s Department of Education (DOE) and Department of Justice (DOJ) have sent a joint Dear Colleague letter to public schools rescinding the Obama administration’s previous May 13, 2016 Dear Colleague letter demanding that every public school in the nation put safety before sanity and open their bathroom, locker and shower rooms to biological boys who think they are girls and vice versa.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions has withdrawn the Obama Administration’s appeal of Judge O’Connor’s nationwide injunction forbidding the implementation of last year’s directive to schools to open the girls’ bathrooms, locker and shower facilities to boys who think they are girls and vice versa. The Human Rights Campaign has mounted an effort to intimidate the current administration to reinstate the appeal.
