Corporate sponsorship allows the LGBT agenda to be propagated within our public schools (as well as some private schools). Those who are concerned about the promotion of homosexuality and transgenderism within the schools have some tough decisions to make. Will we be able to make them?
The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission has overstepped its legal authority and has issued “guidance” which expands their reach. The Commission will now investigate complaints based on “sexual orientation and gender identity or expression” as a form of sex discrimination—even though the law has NOT changed! So, they will now investigate Christian businesses, such as WW Bridal Boutique, when the owners have a deeply held religious belief that engaging in homosexual acts is sin and direct the homosexual couple wanting brides’ gowns, or a “wedding” cake or flowers for their “wedding” to their competitor down the street. Also, if a business owner responds to complaints by female customers about the man in their restroom, by asking the male to use the men’s room – that owner will have a complaint filed against him. Only one commissioner sided with sanity!!
By executive order, Governor Wolf has created a Commission on LGBTQ Issues. Its stated goal is to be “the Commonwealth’s advocate agency for its LGBTQ citizens,” but its true goal is to push the normalization of homosexuality and transgenderism across every spectrum within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order to create the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs. Supposedly its purpose is to help those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning or queer to gain their civil rights by creating policies and procedures that protect them from discrimination. However, the true purpose is to further normalize those lifestyles!
East Penn School District has released the URLs that parents have been requesting since May. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) became involved after meeting with concerned parents in the district. It was appalling that the district required the parents to jump through numerous hoops and even after all that still refusing to allow parents access to material to which their children in Emmaus High School were exposed, stating it was protected information because it was a student project.
In mid-2015 PA Governor Tom Wolf was deemed the nation’s most liberal governor and his actions this week confirmed that he still deserves that title. On August 6th he signed an executive order creating the Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs – the only in the nation. This will join the governor’s other existing commissions — African American Affairs, Asian Pacific American Affairs, Latino Affairs and the Commission for Women. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocacy group, has contacted Governor Wolf outlining reasons why this is a bad idea.
Planet Fitness has as “judgement-free zone” policy, however they consistently judge women who complain about men in their locker rooms by revoking their membership! On Sunday in New Hampshire they called the police on a man exercising in the nude – obviously passing judgement on him! However, if this same man had entered the women’s […]
Diane Gramley, President of the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), will take part in a press event in front of the US Supreme Court Building in Washington, DC today. The purpose of the event is to focus a light on the harm that has been done to the nation in the three years since the highest court in the land unconstitutionally legalized so-called same-sex marriage through judicial fiat.
Today the US Supreme Court handed down the right decision in protecting the First Amendment rights of Colorado baker Jack Phillips. In a 7-2 decision the US Supreme Court ruled that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission had displayed anti-Christian bias towards Jack Phillips in their dealings with him in the complaint filed by two homosexual men when Phillips refused to bake a custom cake for their same-sex “wedding.”
In December the US Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the Masterpiece Cakeshop Ltd. v. Colorado Anti-Discrimination Commission case which pits a baker’s religious freedom against Colorado’s addition of “sexual orientation” to its anti-discrimination laws. The outcome of this case has ramifications for every Christian business owner in America. Homosexual activists are hoping for a win during this their ‘gay pride’ month. Pray daily for the nine Justice on the US Supreme Court – that they would simply interpret the Constitution and not rewrite it.
