Senate Votes to Strip “Sex Reassignment Surgery” for Children Out of CHIP, Now Will They Not Confirm the Guy Who Promotes Such?

(Harrisburg) — Two weeks ago the Pennsylvania Senate voted 37-13 to pass   Senator Donald White’s amendment which prohibited reimbursement for so-called sex reassignment surgery in the Children Health Insurance Program (CHIP).   Now they have a decision to make — whether to confirm or not confirm Governor Wolf’s nominee for Secretary of Health  — a man who thinks he’s a woman and fully supports this type destructive surgery.   The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocacy organization,  is asking the Senate not to confirm this gender confused man to be PA’s next Secretary of Health.

“The State Senate made the correct decision in stripping reimbursement for the mutilation of gender confused children from CHIP, so the question is what will they do with transgender activist Dr. “Rachel” Levine? Ironically, one of the missions of the PA Health Department is mission is to promote healthy lifestyles.  This is something Levine cannot do.  Is this the only individual in Pennsylvania who is qualified to hold this position?” commented Diane Gramley, President of the AFA of PA.

According to the DSM-V on page 455, as many as 98% of gender confused boys and 88% of gender confused girls eventually accept their biological sex after naturally passing through puberty.

Former transgender Walt Heyer  says of transgenders, “Sixty to seventy percent of them are suffering from undiagnosed and untreated comorbid disorders such as bipolar disorder, dissociative disorder, body dismorphic disorder, even schizophrenia.”  Does Levine fall under one of these categories?

“Bottom line is Governor Wolf’s nominee is still a LGBT activist who speaks at conferences about transgender medicine, which obviously includes so-called sex-reassignment surgery.  According to a June 2016 Washington Post article Levine refuses to say whether he is taking hormones or has had mutilating surgery because it’s a ‘private medical matter.’  Isn’t it a privacy issue for women who may not want to use the women’s bathroom with a biological man?  Levine apparently is not concerned about their privacy.  The Senate needs to vote down this nominee,” concluded Gramley.
