This Shephard is a Victim of Homosexual Sexual Assault, But His Story is Forgotten

(Harrisburg) —  In 2006 Jason Shephard of Philadelphia was slipped the date rape drug GHB by a co-worker who had invited him over to his home.  Through his drugged stupor he fought off the homosexual assault, but was strangled to death as a result.   The perpetrator, William Smithson, was convicted of first-degree murder in 2008.  He is appealing the recent denial for a new trial declaring he was only convicted because of “homophobia.”   The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) notes the double standard  – the media blackout — this case continues to expose.   Only a handful of stories have resulted from this Shephard’s murder and now the only stories about Smithson’s continuing accusations of discrimination are being covered in the “gay” media.

“Jason Shephard came to Philadelphia to see what the world had to offer.  Within a few short months he was dead at the hands of a homosexual perpetrator, attempting to fulfill a sexual fantasy.   Jason’s body was wrapped in sheets and hidden in Smithson’s basement for several days before being discovered by police.   Jason Shephard’s life was cut short and the story of his tragic death has been dropped into the pit of a media blackout.   Change the first name of the victim to Matthew and his sexuality to homosexual rather than heterosexual and there was a different response.  Additionally, Smithson’s claim that so-called homophobia contributed to the jury’s guilty verdict is outrageous,”  remarked Diane Gramley, president of the AFA of PA.

Matthew Shephard’s murder in 1998 generated over 3,000 stories in the month after his death, while only forty stories developed in the month after the 1999 brutal rape and murder of 13-year-old Jesse Dirkhising at the hands of two homosexuals he considered friends.

Jason Shephard, Jesse Dirkhising, 15 year old Amanda Collette , Mary Stachowicz , Robert Wone   — how many more murders by homosexuals have fallen into the media blackout pit?

“It has becoming increasingly apparent that homosexual on heterosexual crime is something the mainstream media refuses to acknowledge even exists.   That destroys their story line that homosexuals are always the victims needing special protection.   They even ignore the true story, written by a homosexual investigative reporter, of Matthew Shepard’s death,  not by someone who hated homosexuals, but by one of his former lovers.   Jason Shephard’s murderer was tried and convicted near Philadelphia by a jury of his peers who were not suffering from homophobia as he claims, but simply looked at the overwhelming evidence that pointed his direction.  Will the media cover the story or continue its blackout?” questioned Gramley.
