Homosexual Activists Picket Fayette County Church

Details

The week before Memorial Day the Apostolic Holiness Church in Connellsville (Fayette County) placed what some considered hateful and offensive wording on their outside sign.  In fact, it was so hate-filled and offensive to them that they picketed the church on May 27th to show their displeasure.  What would a church place on their outside sign that could be so offensive?    The sign declared one man one woman marriage as “God’s Way.”

Action Steps

  1. Jan Murphy says:

Thank you for taking a stand for the Lord on such a basic issue. Too many issues are overlooked, too many churches are silent, too many churches do not stand for Christ. God bless you!

  2. mark p says:

Sorry, but the whole “Gods way” thing is made by MAN. Until god comes down from the sky and says other wise i ll merely believe this your own device

  3. afaofpa says:

God did actually come down in the form of Jesus Christ and affirmed marriage as only between one man and one woman in Matthew 19:5 and Mark 10: 7-8.

  4. mark p says:

The origin of marriage pre-dates and is recorded before the bible.

  5. afaofpa says:

That would be a little difficult since Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning.”

  6. mark p says:

Yes, but the Bible is not as old as other religious texts so it does not have the ownership of all of this

  7. afaofpa says:

Being a “religious text” does not mean it is truth. It all comes down to your worldview.
