The Allegheny County Health Department (an unelected body) is poised to mandate all 11 and 12 year olds must have the HPV vaccination in order to enter school! So . . . the “health” department is poised to require pre-teen students to get a vaccination to prevent a sexually transmitted disease. There is currently a petition drive to force a referendum question on the Allegheny County ballot in November. As our nation takes time to reflect today on the terrorist attacks upon us thirteen years ago, we have been reminded this week that the attacks upon our American principles and her history do not just happen through the efforts of small groups on passenger jets. We were attacked physically on September 11, 2001 resulting in the loss of thousands of lives, but our founding principles, our basic beliefs are also under attack by those who are attempting to rewrite our nation’s history in an effort to create a God-less America. We can look all around us to see the results of pushing God out of the public square and it’s not a pretty picture!
