Pressure from GLAAD contributed to A&E’s decision to indefinitely suspend Robertson. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) is pleased that A&E has reversed its decision and reinstated Phil Robertson to the program.
Yesterday the January 2014 edition of GQ magazine was available online and the story that got everyone’s attention was the interview with Phil Robertson, the patriarch in the A&E reality TV show Duck Dynasty. Here’s the story (WARNING: the writer of the story uses some vulgar language). The writer, Drew Magary, notes: “The show is merely the platform. The end goal is to save souls.”
Phil Robertson comments, “Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong,” he says. “Sin becomes fine.”

Remember Growing Pains and child star Kirk Cameron? He is now a Christian and part of the Way of the Master ministry with Ray Comfort. He was recently interviewed on CNN. The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is blasting Cameron for defining marriage as only between one man and one woman and that homosexuality is unnatural and a sin.
