Patrick Murphy (PA-8) introduced a bill to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) Tuesday that could be inserted into a measure already passed in the Senate, a procedural maneuver that would speed up floor consideration in the Senate. Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) introduced a free-standing repeal bill (S. 4022) last Thursday.

This vote took place after homosexual activists, President Obama, Senator Harry Reid and others have pushed relentlessly for more than two years to repeal the law, many times mislabeled Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.
