Yesterday the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) once again faxed questions and scenarios for the Susquehanna Township Board of Commissioners to consider before tonight’s vote on a so-called “anti-discrimination” ordinance. We have yet to hear anything from the commissioners. Apparently, they are not willing to address the potential harm that will be done if the ordinance is passed tonight.

Today the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) emailed and faxed the Board of Supervisors concerning the public hearing about the so-called ‘anti-discrimination’ ordinance that was held tonight. The question is do the Township Supervisors have enough courage to honestly answer the questions and take a close look at the evidence presented outlining the dangers of passing the ordinance which will give special protections to homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders simply because of the sexual activity in which they engage and who they think they are.

fbi November 16, 2011   //   0 Comments

On Monday the FBI released their 2010 Hate Crimes Statistics noting that the number of hate crime incidences is holding steady when comparing the 6,604 incidents in 2009 to 6,624 in 2010. And as in the past the numbers revealed that nationally you are more likely to be the victim of a hate crime if you are black or religious (Jewish being the most dangerous at 887 incidences of hate crimes out of 1,322) than if you identify as homosexual. Of the 6,624 single bias incidents, 47.3 percent were motivated by a racial bias, 20.0 percent were motivated by a religious bias, 19.3 percent were motivated by a sexual orientation bias.

News Release: Will Jenkintown Vote to Advertise Discriminatory Ordinance?

Jenkintown October 24, 2011   //   0 Comments

Tonight Jenkintown Borough in Montgomery County will be deciding whether to advertise an ordinance which would create a local human relations commission and include the words “sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.” Homosexual activists have been very busy in southeastern PA since last year pushing the victim card and claiming they are losing their jobs and being thrown out of their homes simply because they are homosexual — although they have yet to produce any current valid examples. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide traditional values group , has contacted each member of the Council Board and asked them some specific questions.

Action Alert: Homosexuals Target Jenkintown

Jenkintown is the next target. Why would this small suburban town covering less than a square mile in area with a population of approximately 4,500 be targeted? It’s simply a potential feather in the cap of those trying to put pressure on the state legislature to change the PA Human Relations Act to include “sexual orientation and gender identity or expression” thus giving homosexuals, bisexuals and transgenders special rights simply because of the sexual activity in which they engage or who they think they are.

Thus far there has been no response from council members nor a reaction to the examples sent last month of negative impact in other places where similar ordinances passed.

Daily we are told by homosexual activists that they do not target children, yet the evidence points to another conclusion. Children are bombarded with pro-homosexual propaganda at all levels. Elementary school children are exposed to books such as King and King, Heather Has Two Mommies and Tango Makes Three – all in an attempt to paint homosexuality as safe and normal.

News Release: State College Area School District Makes Another Wrong Decision

SCAHS July 25, 2011   //   0 Comments

Tonight by a 6-2 vote the State College Area School board approved changes in their anti-discrimination policies for students and the district hiring practices to include ‘sexual orientation and gender identity.’ This move follows on the heels of the district offering same-sex domestic partner benefits to its homosexual employees. The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide traditional values and child advocacy group, is appalled that the board takes their responsibility of providing for the safety of their students so lightly.
