Will Your Senator Co-sponsor This Resolution?

Details

PA State Senator Mike Regan, a first-term senator  from York County,  has said he will introduce a resolution condemning the national anthem protests that occurred at National Football League games all across the country this past weekend.  Click here to read his co-sponsorship memo.

Senator Regan, a former US Marshal, noted in his memo that the NFL protests are “not a harmless exercise of First Amendment rights. It was a deliberate, orchestrated effort to disrespect the anthem and flag of the United States of America, and it cannot go unrebuked.”

The resolution does not carry the force of law, but would serve as a public condemnation of the protests.

The question is:  How many State Senators have the courage to sign on as co-sponsors?

Action Steps

Contact your State Senator and ask him or her to sign on to Senator Regan’s resolution condemning the National Anthem protests.
