Deadline for Registering to Vote Fast Approaching/Info on Absentee Ballots

Details

There is no doubt the ‘progressives’ are hoping to take back the US House and US Senate.  For reasons from retirements to frustration with the court imposed map to a run for the US Senate,  new PA Congressional Districts  4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 13 are open seats!  With money and manpower from Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign, the Democrats see the real possibility that they will swing the PA delegation to the Left!

We all know it is extremely important to vote – in fact races have been determined by one vote per precinct i.e.  In the 1960 presidential election, an additional one vote per precinct in Illinois, Missouri, New Jersey, and Texas may have altered the course of America’s modern history by denying John F. Kennedy the presidency and placing Richard Nixon in the White House eight years earlier.

Make sure all your friends and family are registered to vote!!  Can’t get to your polling place on election day, don’t forget to apply for an absentee ballot!

Action Steps

Listen to my interview with former member of the Virginia House of Delegates Bob Marshall about the intense voter registration efforts by Democrats here in PA.  Click here to listen.

If you know of anyone who is not registered, please encourage them to register to vote by October 9th.   Anyone who will be 18 years of age by November 6th can register to vote in that election.  They can register online here   or download the blank registration form to fill out and mail or hand-deliver to their county courthouse here

If you or someone you know is unable to go to your polling place to vote due to work, illness, vacation, disability, etc., they can apply for an absentee ballot.  There are several steps involved – mailing back and forth, etc., so don’t wait until the last minute.  The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30th and your voted absentee ballot must be back in your county’s election office by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd.     Different deadlines apply for the military.  Click  here  for the Absentee Ballot Application
