Details

On Tuesday Paul Ryan described the secret budget negotiations held between leadership and the White House as a process “that stinks.” On Wednesday, before winning the initial nomination for Speaker of the House, he announced he would support the deal.   His opponent, Florida’s Daniel Webster and Freedom Caucus choice to succeed Speaker John Boehner, said on Wednesday he opposed the Boehner-Obama budget deal.   In today’s final floor vote for Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan is expected to get the 218 votes needed to ascend to the Speaker’s chair.

General Election is next Tuesday, November 3rd. How important is this election? Well, we’ll be voting for three PA Supreme Court judges, one Superior Court judge and one Commonwealth Court judge as well as many county-wide and school board races.
