Let Governor Corbett Know He’s Wrong in Support of Discriminatory Bill

Details

Governor Tom Corbett has announced his support  of HB/SB 300 – the bills that would add “sexual orientation, gender identity or expression”  to the PA Human Relations Act.   Governor Corbett apparently does not see the danger of passing such laws, nor the harm done to those with deeply held religious beliefs that homosexuality is wrong.

Examples of harm include:

1.)  Dr. Mary Ann Stark,  associate professor of nursing at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, encountered a man who identifies as a woman using the shower and restroom in a local health club.

2.)  Sweet Cakes by Melissa in Gresham, Oregon was forced to close after being hounded by homosexual activists because of their refusal to bake a “wedding” cake for a lesbian couple earlier this year.

3.)  Elane’s Photography in Albuquerque, New Mexico was fined $6000 for refusing to photograph a lesbian commitment ceremony.

Each of the above were targeted because of their Christian beliefs, but it doesn’t stop there.

1.)  A Portland, OR bar has been fined $400,000 because the owner asked transgender men dressed like women to stop meeting at his bar because they were using the women’s restroom and running off business.

2.)  Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA has said it will not prevent a 45-year-old man, who identifies as a woman, from lounging naked in a women’s locker room, in an area frequented by girls as young as six.
