The US Department of Education has clarified that they do not nterpret the word “sex” in Title IX as including “gender identity.” They have made it clear that they will not investigate bathroom complaints from students who identity as “transgender.” Thank Secretary of Education DeVos for this clarification.
CPAC’s convention runs from February 21-24. It is considered the premiere conservative gathering. However, it has increasingly shown its tilt to the Left and now it has rejected the application of a pro-family group to have a display table and has prevented a Christian reporter from obtaining media credentials.
State Representative Cris Dush is circulating a co-sponsorship memo in order to begin impeachment proceedings against the five PA Supreme Court justices which voted to declare the PA congressional map unconstitutional. The memo notes the order “blatantly and clearly contradicts the plain language of the Pennsylvania Constitution, engaged in misbehavior in office.” Ask your State Rep to sign on as a co-sponsor.
The Inter-American Court of Human Rights is forcing same-sex “marriage” and transgenderism on more than 16 countries in Central and South America. Under President Obama the US became a member of the Core Group on the Rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Persons of the Organization of American States when it was formed in June 2016. This “Core Group” has issued a statement in support of the Inter-American Court’s actions and signed by all its members, except the United States! Thank President Trump for taking this stand.
It’s very true that elections have consequences and voters should be informed on where candidates stand on the issues that are important to them. Incumbents have a voting record that tells us where they really stand on life, the Second Amendment, the Constitution, immigration, illegal aliens, etc. How did your US Rep and US Senators vote on the issues important to you?
The Super Bowl is once again upon us. Super Bowl 52 between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will be this Sunday and along with the game will be sex traffickers determined to make a bundle of money. They will be selling young men and women for sex. Past Super Bowl games have resulted in the arrests of sex traffickers and sex buyers, as well as the recovery of juvenile victims. What can you do to help stop this travesty?
Did you know it is perfectly legal to abort a baby in the United States even when that baby can feel pain? Yes, it is perfectly legal to tear a baby in the womb apart limb by limb even though he or she feels pain. S 2311 would ban abortions after 20 weeks – the time research has shown a baby feels pain.
A birth certificate is a legal document that requires legislative action to change its content, yet the Bureau of Vital Records, which falls under the PA Department of Health (PADOH), has taken it upon itself to change “Mother” and “Father” designations to “Parent” and “Parent.” This is an illegal action on the part of the PADOH and must be addressed by the legislature.
The annual March for Life is today and the question remains how many more dead babies before this tragedy ends. Sixty million dead babies later and the end to abortion is still not in sight. Abortion is now considered “healthcare” for women. What about the “little woman” that is killed in abortion? Of those 60,000,000 babies that have been killed was one of them the one God sent to find the cure for cancer or some other dreaded disease or maybe the inventor of some great new device that could have saved thousands of lives? We’ll never know because they were killed before they could draw their first breath!
Last year the Senate did not vote on President Trumps’ nominee to be the next US Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom. President Trump has re-nominated Kansas Governor Sam Brownback for that position. This ambassador would be in charge of investigating religious freedom violations around the world and submit an annual report to inform the President of those violations, as well as promote religious freedom through State Department foreign policy. Ask Senators Casey and Toomey to support Governor Brownback and push for his confirmation.
