Since the 1950’s with the Kinsey Report, the homosexual population in the US has been touted at being ten percent. In 2011 Gallup asked people how many Americans were homosexual, most guessed 25%. Who could blame them with the media, entertainment and school curriculum showcasing homosexual activists, placing ‘gay’ characters in almost every television program or movie and rewriting history. In 2012 Gallup conducted a survey of 121,000 people, the largest study ever aimed at calculating the LGBT population in the US. The results showed 3.4% of the population identified as LGBT. This survey showed that the only place in the country that really has a 10 percent gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender population is Washington, DC. Pennsylvania came in eighth from the bottom, with 2.7% identifying as LGBT; 9,716 interviews were conducted by Gallup for the poll results in PA.
Not even taking into account the 2010 lame duck session repeal of the misnamed law “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” (This was actually the name of a policy signed by President Bill Clinton. The actual law was a ban on homosexuals in the military — period.), the current administration has negatively impacted our military.
Pennsylvania has been thrust into the madness of thousands of illegal immigrant children crossing the border unaccompanied. The state Department of Public Welfare confirmed yesterday that federal officials told them 120 children are in two temporary centers, KidsPeace in Bethlehem and the Bethany Children’s Home outside of Reading in Berks County. The other 386 youngsters are staying with “sponsors” including relatives and religious groups, said spokeswoman Kait Gillis. More are expected to follow.
The number of minor children crossing or attempting to cross the U.S. southern border unaccompanied by a parent or other adult relative has exploded from 6,560 in 2011 to an estimated 60,000 for fiscal year 2014. Border patrol agents in South Texas reported over 1,000 such children were apprehended by officials earlier this month, including a 3-year-old boy from Honduras.
Today a three judge panel of the DC Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that subsidies to assist individuals in purchasing healthcare, if they qualify based on their income, are only intended to be dispersed to individuals who purchase a plan on an exchange that was created by their state. However, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals also ruled today that the subsidies were intended for individuals on a state or federally created exchange. Same issue – two different rulings could place this on the docket of the US Supreme Court next term or it could be heard before the entire DC Circuit Court where the decision would probably be the exact opposite of that handed down today by that court’s panel. Why? It’s called court packing.
The issuance of President Obama’s most recent executive order adding the words “sexual orientation and gender identity” to two previous executive orders — 11246, signed by President Lyndon Johnson on September 24, 1965 and 11478 signed by President Nixon on August 8, 1969 shows his continued bowing to pressure from homosexual activists and his inability to distinguish between changeable and unchangeable characteristics i.e. race/ethnicity are unchangeable while homosexuality is changeable.
