Further Proof PA Governor Wolf’s Choice for Physician General is an LGBT Activist

(Philadelphia) — In January Governor Tom Wolf nominated Dr. Rachel Levine, who up until five years ago was known as Richard Levine, to be the Commonwealth’s Physician General. Tom Wolf’s efforts to appease his homosexual, transgender base will negatively impact the entire Commonwealth. Levine is acting Physician General as he awaits Senate confirmation.   In response to Levine speaking at the 2015 HRC Philadelphia Region Gala Dinner on Saturday the 21st,  the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) is again calling on Governor Wolf to rescind this nomination and for the State Senate not to confirm Levine in the event Wolf does not make the right decision.

“Governor Wolf should be nominating individuals to his cabinet who have the well being of the entire Commonwealth in mind and not an activist pushing a lifestyle believed unhealthy by the majority of Pennsylvanians. In addition to speaking at the HRC gala on Saturday, Levine continues serving on the board of the homosexual group Equality PA . What more proof do we need that Levine will use this position to further push the normalization of homosexuality and transgenderim,” Diane Gramley, President of the AFA of PA asked.

The job of Physician General is to “advise the governor and secretary of the Department of Health on medical and public health-related issues.” However, Levine is confused and not qualified to work as Physician General.   Dr. Joseph Berger, a Toronto consulting psychiatrist and an expert in the field of mental illness, says that from a medical and scientific perspective there is no such thing as a “transgendered” person.   He explained that cosmetic surgery will not change the chromosomes of a human being in that it will not make a man become a woman, capable of menstruating, ovulating, and having children, nor will it make a woman into a man, capable of generating sperm that can unite with an egg or ovum from a woman and fertilize that egg to produce a human child.

Dr. Paul McHugh, former Johns Hopkins chief of psychiatry and the author of six books and at least 125 peer-reviewed medical articles, notes “the transgendered person’s disorder is in the person’s “assumption” that they are different than the physical reality of their body, their maleness or femaleness, as assigned by nature. It is a disorder similar to a “dangerously thin” person suffering anorexia who looks in the mirror and thinks they are “overweight.”

“Proceeds from this HRC fundraising dinner will be used to further push the gay agenda on the Commonwealth. By joining Levine and other homosexual/transgender activists, Governor Wolf is building a wall between himself and the majority of Pennsylvanians. The question is will Governor Wolf be astute enough to see it?” Gramley further asked.
