Bridal Shop Forced Out of Business by LGBT Haters

(Harrisburg) — WW Bridal Boutique  in Bloomsburg has announced it will close its doors on March 30 after 37 years of business.   This is the result of being targeted by homosexual activists since 2014 when they turned away a lesbian couple who wanted two wedding gowns for their upcoming “wedding” ceremony.  The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocate for natural one man one woman marriage, is appalled by this unrelenting attack on a Pennsylvania Christian small business owner and views this attack and the subsequent closing of WW Bridal Boutique as the true intent of homosexual activists around the country.

“The true intent of homosexual activists has again been clearly exposed in the WW Bridal Boutique situation.  They expect absolute affirmation of their lifestyle or they will relentlessly attack you, your family and your business.  It is so very evident they don’t care about anyone or anything else, except themselves and their demand for affirmation,” noted Diane Gramley, president of the AFA of PA.

Seven people will lose their jobs after WW Bridal Boutique closes its doors the end of the month.

The attacks began in 2014 when the owners said they could not provide two lesbians with wedding gowns citing their Christian beliefs and directed them to another bridal boutique down the street.  Just last year two other lesbians approached the shop with the same request and were turned down.  At that time the attacks became so intense that WW Bridal Boutique  temporarily closed its doors and only accepted visits by appointment.

“We have provided formal wear for our customers from all walks of life, including the LGBTQ community. We have always served everyone with respect and dignity,” owner Victoria Miller  told the Huffington Post in August 2017. “It is just this event, a same-sex marriage, which we cannot participate in due to our personal convictions.”

“Again, a Christian business owner who serves all customers except in the case of weddings is being forced out of business.  This is blatant religious discrimination.  Owner Victoria Miller should be able to run her business and not have her right of conscience infringed.  Miller has stood strong throughout these attacks, has honored her God and should be commended.   Homosexual activists should be ashamed, but they feel no shame,” concluded Gramley.
