And They Say They Don’t Target Children; Homosexuals Want Bert and Ernie to Wed

(Harrisburg) – Daily we are told by homosexual activists that they do not target children, yet the evidence points to another conclusion.  Children are bombarded with pro-homosexual propaganda at all levels.  Elementary school children are exposed to books such as King and King, Heather Has Two Mommies and Tango Makes Three – all in an attempt to paint homosexuality as safe and normal.  The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a traditional values and child advocacy group, notes that our nation’s children are the targets in this culture war; they are the guinea pigs in this great social experiment of remolding our nation’s ideas on marriage and family.

“This recent effort to try to convince the producers of Sesame Street to have Bert and Ernie wed is outrageous, yet not totally surprising as homosexual activists’ primary targets are impressionable and vulnerable children,” remarked Diane Gramley, President of the AFA of PA.

In the minds of these activists the legalization of unnatural homosexual ‘marriage’ in New York should lead to wedding bells ringing for Bert and Ernie on Sesame Street.  In their minds this would help children be more ‘tolerant’ of homosexuals.   While, in actuality it would give a clear signal that so-called same-sex marriage is normal and okay.

The producers of Sesame Street have said they have no intention of marrying off Bert and Ernie because even though the Sesame Street puppets have many human traits, they have no sexual orientation.

“In the guise of preventing bullying and teaching tolerance of those who are different, homosexuals activists have stepped over the line targeting younger and younger children.  They are willing to push a very dangerous lifestyle on pre-school children and this should outrage parents around the nation.  Their goal is to sexualize children in an attempt to get them to accept homosexuality.  Concerned parents should contact Sesame Workshop and express their support for friends Bert and Ernie not husband and husband Bert and Ernie,” further commented Gramley.
