Sunday was World AIDS Day. On Monday President Obama said another $100 million in the federal budget would be redirected to AIDS research. On Tuesday St. Luke’s University Health Network in Lehigh Valley gave into the demands of homosexual activists and announced it would begin offering same-sex domestic partner benefits to its employees in 2014. The theme of World AIDS Day 2013 was “Shared Responsibility: Strengthening Results for an AIDS-Free Generation.” The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocate for the natural family, is appalled at the inability of those who should know better to be able to connect the dots and continue promoting the very lifestyle that creates the AIDS crisis in America.
In 2006 there were 30,000 new HIV infections among men who have sex with men. The politically correct approach to stopping the pandemic of AIDS is not working. Engaging in the homosexual lifestyle must be discouraged, not met with approval.
