Recently Congressman Joe Pitts (R-16) was asked for a response to the “aggressive anti-LGBT policies and actions of Chick-Fil-A and statements made by its president.” Admirably, and to the dismay of homosexual activists, Congressman Pitts came to the defense of Chick-fil-A’s president Dan Cathy. The homosexual group Equality PA believes this shows Congressman Pitts is out of touch with reality and is an embarrassment to Pennsylvania! So, they have started a petition demanding that the Congressman publicly apologize for his “hurtful” remarks.
The end of last week liberal and pro-homosexual media erupted with the news the Chick-fil-A had reached an agreement with Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno and would cease donating to pro-family groups in exchange for permission to open a Chick-fil-A in Moreno’s district. Their “celebration” was short-lived when the truth finally made it to the media and Chick-fil-A indicated there was no change in policy.

Reports from around the country indicate yesterday was a successful day in showing our appreciation to Chick-fil-A and its President Dan Cathy in his Biblical stand on marriage. A record number of customers were served!
Tomorrow has been designated by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee as Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day to give us an opportunity to show our support for this Christian-family owned business and the stand its President and Corporate Operating Officer, Dan Cathy, has taken for traditional marriage. He is also the son of founder Truett Cathy.
Last week Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy made the “mistake” of saying he believes marriage should only be between one man and one woman and warned of God’s judgment on America:
“I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage. I pray God’s mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about.”
