A new school year is upon us once again. Parents need to be aware that there are those pushing liberal agendas within the education establishment. The business items approved by the NEA at their annual convention in July highlight this fact! Parents also need to be aware that some schools consider your children their property once they walk through the schoolhouse door, but don’t succumb to any intimidation tactics the school may use. Your children are your children – even within the walls of the school. No matter what school district you are in, you and your children are not immune from these radical agendas. Podcast: Dangerous Policies of the NEA; Guest: Greg Quinlan

As usual the National Education Association held its annual convention several days on either side of the Fourth of July. On their website, they claim the NEA is: “the nation’s largest professional employee organization, is committed to advancing the cause of public education. NEA’s 3 million members work at every level of education—from pre-school to university graduate programs. NEA has affiliate organizations in every state and in more than 14,000 communities across the United States.” So this union holds a lot of clout when it comes to the education of the next generation of Americans.

Action Alert – The Danger of the NEA

About 95 % of Americans school-age children attend public schools. Our tax dollars support those schools whether we have children in school or support the schools philosophically.
