A nation cannot exist for long without good borders and good immigration laws — something which the US lacks. President Trump has declared a national emergency in order to build the wall along the southern border, however many in Congress are not happy with this decision. Action Alert – How Did Your Congressman Vote?

The US House passed HJ Res 46 by a vote of 245 to 182 with thirteen Republicans joining all the Democrats. PA’s Brian Fitzpatrick was one of those Republicans!! The language of the resolution is as follows: “This joint resolution terminates the national emergency related to the U.S.-Mexico border, declared by the President on February 15, 2019.”

Action Alert – Contact Congress, Senate, Schumer and Pelosi

The partial government shutdown is nearing the 30-day mark and there appears to be no movement on the part of the Democrats to give President Trump the money needed to build the wall on our southern border. They even refuse to acknowledge there’s a problem. Maybe we should let our Congressman, Senators, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer know our thoughts!

Action Alert – Tell Your Congressman to Build the Wall

During tonight’s speech, President Trump laid out the crisis on our southern border and the steps that need to be taken to end that crisis – the construction of a border wall. Last week the Democrat-controlled House passed bills that ended the shutdown, but did not give the President one penny for the wall. Five Republicans, including Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1), voted with the Democrats. It’s time to build the wall!
