Lamar Advertising has chosen to quit advertising The Headliners Club on the billboard along Interstate 80 near Youngstown. Thanks go out to all who put forth the effort to contact Bobby Soule, General Manager in the Girard office and Mr. Kevin Reilly, the owner, in corporate headquarters in Baton Rouge, LA.
BUT it's not over yet. They are still advertising a sexually oriented business -- a local one. How long will it be before they are again advertising a Pennsylvania sexually oriented business in the area?

Note the Code of Ethical Conduct. This code was presented by pro-family groups in 1999 to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) members. The pro-family groups left the meeting with the feeling that the OAAA would adhere to this Code of Ethical Conduct. BUT the billboard for the Headliners Club is just one piece of evidence that Lamar Outdoor Advertising is not adhering to this code and with the full knowledge of the OAAA!
