RECENT INCIDENCES AGAIN PROVE THAT BOY SCOUTS HAVE MADE THE RIGHT DECISION, TRADITIONAL VALUES GROUP SAYS
(Philadelphia)- Today a statewide traditional values group again sent a statement to Philadelphia Mayor John Street and Cradle of Liberty Scout Council Executive Director William Dwyer asking them to stand behind the National Scout office's policy of prohibiting open homosexuals as scout leaders. The Cradle of Liberty Scout Council works with 87,000 boys in the Philadelphia area.
"If recent alleged incidences in Lehigh County prove true this is additional evidence that the Scouts have made the right decision in not permitting open homosexuals into their ranks," Diane Gramley president of the American Family Association (AFA of PA) said today.
Benjamin Schragger, leader of the medieval Society of Creative Anachronism's youth program, is facing additional charges of sexually abusing teens and children. Eleven children have voiced allegations saying Schragger molested them during unofficial society meetings.
In neighboring Carbon County a retired teacher has admitted having sex with a 15-year-old boy. The teen said in a preliminary hearing that Robert Levis did not force him to participate in the sex acts nor did he give him alcohol.

Since men who are "exclusively homosexual" -- only 2 percent of the total male population -- are responsible for 21 percent of child molestation cases involving little boys, this finding by one of the nation's leading experts on pedophilia ( http://www.abelscreen.com/aboutasi.htm ) indicates that exclusively homosexual men are ten times more likely per capita to molest little boys than are other men. (The long discredited claim by homosexual activists that homosexual men comprise 10 percent of the population would still indicate that such men were twice as likely per capita to molest little boys.)
The Simon and Schuster book Homosexualities, by Alan Bell, reports that 25 percent of homosexual men admit to having had sex with boys who are 16 or under.
"The Scouts are continually under attack by homosexual activists for their prohibition of homosexual Scout leaders. These allegations, if proven true, and this admission by Mr. Levis are additional proof that homosexual males may take advantage of the young boys in their charge. We are again calling on Mayor Street to step in and defend the boys who are in the Cradle of Liberty Scout Council from homosexual activists intent on using the City's Fair Practices Ordinance to force the Scouts to change their policy. The AFA of PA is also encouraging Bill Dwyer to not give in to the threats of the activists," continued Gramley.
