The
Roll Call to weaken H.B. 2381, the Marriage Protection Amendment, in the
Senate Judiciary Committee is below.
The language is now “Only
a marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid
or recognized as a marriage in this Commonwealth.”
Remember
this clears the path for civil unions to be legalized in Pennsylvania.

The weakened version of H.B. 2381 was then voted out
of committee by a vote of 13 to 1 . . . .
only Senator Orie voted against it.
H.B. 2381 now goes to the full Senate for a vote.
Remember this amendment is not strong enough to protect
traditional marriage because it does not deal with civil unions.
Fake marriage or civil unions is a stepping stone that will be
used by homosexual activists to get same-sex marriage legalized in
Pennsylvania.
