Details

The Do No Harm Act is a two-piece packet of bills. At this time only one part has been officially introduced.  SB 843 is “An Act prohibiting minor medical procedures that cause permanent and irreparable damage due to certain sex transitioning procedures; prescribing penalties; and establishing a private right of action.”  It is modeled after Tennessee’s law, which was just upheld by the US Supreme Court.   SB 843 was placed in the Senate Health and Human Services Committee on June 9th.
