Franklin Graham, president of Samaritans Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, is calling Christians to pray saying, “As a nation our sins are so great. We have increasingly turned our backs on God and His commands, embracing godless secularism. We need to ask His forgiveness and seek His face.” As II Chronicles 7:14 says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
He his asking that American Christians stop what they are doing at noon on January 14, humble themselves, confess their sins, pray, seek God’s face and ask Him to heal our land.
