1.) Westerville School District in Ohio voted to rescind policy 5223 that allowed absences for religious instruction, immediately throwing out a Christian program that had been in place since 2009. The board and those pushing for rescinding the policy said the decision had nothing to do with religion or Christianity.
2.) Georgia Supreme Court has reinstated the state’s 6-week abortion ban while it reviews the appeal.
