News From Around PA

1.) Philly Queer March for Black Lives will be held in Philly on June 21st.

2.) Philly Pride and most other pride events will be held virtually.

3.) Pro-gay “Queer Eye” will showcase ten Philly are residents including the pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran church of the Atonement.

4.) LGBTQ+ activists are livid that Scott Township (Allegheny County) Commissioner Paul Abel expressed his frustration with the PA Health Secretary’s reopening plan saying “I tell you, I am tired of listening to a guy dressed up like a woman.” 

News From National Scene

1.) Twenty-eight Congressional Democrats send a letter to the US Department of Education demanding it reject its own order telling Connecticut it cannot allow boys on girls’ sports teams.

2.) Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben and now Eskimo Pies all gone in the rush to end “racial inequality.”

3.) Seventy-seven year old Michigan barber gets his license back!

4.) Sesame Street, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network have all expressed their support for “Gay Pride Month” through their social media.

5.) Tennessee has passed a heartbeat bill and the ACLU says they will sue.
