News Release: 2.7% of PA Population Wants Special Rights

Gallup Polling data, has reported that 3.5% of the US population identity as LGBT. Pennsylvania is below the national average at 2.7% of the Pennsylvania population identifying as LGBT. The statewide traditional values group, the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), notes that there are increased efforts within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to extend special protections to this very small group of individuals simply because of the sexual activity in which they engage. The AFA of PA will make this information available to all members of the General Assembly.

Whether you are a football fan or not, the news that Tim Tebow gave in to pressure from the main stream media — egged on by homosexual activists — was very disappointing. If you haven’t heard, Tim Tebow had agreed to speak at the First Baptist Church in Dallas on April 28th as part of their month-long celebration of the opening of their new multimillion dollar downtown Dallas church. As soon as word got out about his intentions, the mainstream media pounced. Why — because First Baptist Church and her pastor Robert Jeffress preaches the Truth of the Gospel and doesn’t hesitate to talk about God’s plan for marriage. The media would not accept the very idea that Tebow would dare associate with such “bigots!”

Action Alert: Thank Governor Corbett

Earlier this month Governor Tom Corbett delivered a message to the Department of Health and Human Services telling them that he would not expand Medicaid as Washington was urging. Remember this was part of the US Supreme Court decision last June which gave states the ability to opt out of Medicaid expansion. Obamacare is depending upon this expansion in order to funnel all those without health insurance into this government program. Fourteen governors — all Republican — have rejected the expansion.

Action Alert: Contact Your Local Boy Scout Council

As you know, the National Executive Board of the Boy Scouts put off until May a vote on whether to maintain the ban on homosexual leaders and members. The fourteen hundred members of the National Board will have a say in that decision which would remove the national ban and allow local councils and units to decide for themselves what policy they want to follow. The homosexual lobby group Human Rights Campaign and other homosexual activists have said lifting the national ban is not good enough
