As we know President Joe Biden issued a lengthy proclamation declaring March 31st Transgender Day of Visibility. This is the fifteenth year of the International Transgender Visibility Day “to celebrate the transgender and nonbinary community.” It was founded by transgender activist Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a psychotherapist and “the executive director of the nonprofit advocacy group Transgender Michigan.” After only a few US cities participated that first year, “Crandall-Crocker, with the help of Susan Crocker, her wife and Transgender Michigan’s operations director, continued to raise awareness about the day and its purpose.” So, that is the sordid history behind the day that celebrates individuals who are confused about their gender. Instead of providing the needed help for these individuals to find out the underlying issue(s) that may be leading to their confusion, they are instead encouraged to continue living the delusion.
In 2021 Joe Biden became the first US President to issue a proclamation on Transgender Day of Visibility and he continues advocating for males playing on girls’ sports teams and using women’s bathrooms, locker and changing rooms. And President Joe Biden is one of those who encourage those who identify as transgender to continue living the lie, as his proclamation goes down through a litany of actions he is proud of through the pro-LGBTQ laws and executive orders he has signed, to new rules and policies his administration has implemented, such as allowing transgenders to serve openly in the military. Biden then says his administration, “is also providing dedicated emergency mental health support through our nationwide suicide and crisis lifeline . . . to speak with a counselor trained to support them.” Yes, a counselor trained to support their delusion, not one to really help them! He goes into more details about unleashing the Department of Justice to push back against state laws that ban mutilating surgeries and sterility drugs like puberty blockers and cross sex hormones. He calls the legislators who support such laws “extremists”. That’s right, the ones who want to protect minors from permanent life-changing “gender affirming” care are the extremists in his mind, not the ones advocating for such. You can read the entire proclamation here.
But this year’s Transgender Day of Visibility fell on Easter Sunday, one of the holiest days on the Christian calendar. Apparently, something that slipped the President’s mind – not that this would be the first time things have slipped his mind! During today’s White House Easter Egg Roll, Biden pushed back against criticism of his Trans Day of Visibility proclamation, even going so far as to say, “I didn’t do that.” In response to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) calling the proclamation “outrageous”, President Biden said “he’s thoroughly uninformed.” (Yes, today is April Fool’s Day, but this was not a joke!)
Biden’s Transgender Day of Visibility Proclamation was over 600 words long. Here’s his statement on Easter:
“Jill and I send our warmest wishes to Christians around the world celebrating Easter Sunday. Easter reminds us of the power of hope and the promise of Christ’s Resurrection.
As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the blessing of the dawn of new possibilities. And with wars and conflict taking a toll on innocent lives around the world, we renew our commitment to work for peace, security, and dignity for all people.
From our family to yours, happy Easter and may God bless you.”
Part of the White House Easter traditions is an art contest. According to a flyer, “On behalf of First Lady Jill Biden, The Adjutants General of the National Guard are asking youth from National Guard families across the United States and all U.S. territories to submit artwork inspired by the theme ‘ ‘Celebrating our Military Families.’” The flyer goes on to say, “Selected designs representing the unique experience and stories of National Guard children will be brought to life on real hen eggs by talented egg artists from across the country and displayed at the White House this Easter and Passover season.” However, the children were warned not to include anything that promotes discrimination or hatred, while in reality the contest rules themselves discriminated against Christian National Guard families as the children were specifically told not to include “religious symbols or overtly religious themes” in their Easter egg design submission. So, just what is Easter if not a religious holiday? Oh yeah, this year it is the Transgender Day of Visibility! Maybe by now Joe Biden will have remembered that he signed and issued that proclamation.
