Ask Senators Casey and Toomey to Sign Onto Schumer Censure Resolution

Details

Earlier this week the Senator from New York, Chuck Schumer, made comments directed at Justices Neal Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh that has caused alarm across the political spectrum.  He said during a pro-abortion rally outside the US Supreme Court building, “I want to tell you Gorsuch. I want to tell you Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

On June 15, 2017, following the attempted murder of several elected Members of Congress, Schumer said, “’We would all be wise to reflect on the importance of civility in our [N]ation’s politics’ and that ‘the level of nastiness, vitriol, and hate that has seeped into our politics must be excised.’ 

Obviously he has forgotten those words!

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has introduced a resolution censuring Senator Schumer.  Upon introduction there were 14 additional sponsors of the resolution.    No Pennsylvania Senator has signed on!

Action Steps

Ask Senators Bob Casey, Jr. and Pat Toomey to sign on as co-sponsors of this resolution censuring Senator Schumer and calling on all members of the US Senate to respect the independence of the Federal judiciary.
