Ask Senators to Support RFK Jr’s Nomination
Details:
On Wednesday and Thursday Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. was grilled before the Senate Finance Committee. As you recall, President Trump has nominated him to be the next Secretary of Health and Human Services. Needless to say, this nomination does not set well some. His Make America Healthy Again motto is not resonating with a lot of Democrats, who are viciously attacking him. Yesterday, he brought up the money Democrats on the committee are getting from the pharmaceutical industry. Here are the numbers according to midwesterndoctor.com
Bernie Sanders (I-VT) $1,953,613
Raphael Warnock (D-GA) $1,763,425
Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) $1,224,145
Ran Wyden (D-OR) $1,207,873
Michael Bennett (D-CO) $730,106
Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) – $537,781
Maggie Hassan (D-NH) $467,999
Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM) $375,652
Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) – $351,361
Maria Cantwell (D-WA) $338,134
Tina Smith (D-MN) $226,444
Peter Welch (D-VT) – $176,917
Did you know that NIH, which falls under the Department of Health and Human Services, is slated to receive at least $50 billion in taxpayer funding for FY2025? They will, in turn, issue grants to some of their own ‘pet projects’! This confirmation is very important to weakening the pharmaceutical industry’s stranglehold on every American.
Additionally, Mike Pence’s group Advancing American Freedom is working against the confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Watch this 8-minute video which connects the dots between Big Pharma money and Pence’s group. It also gives more information on other issues brought up during the hearings.
