How Did Your Congressman Respond to the Supreme Court’s Decision Not to Take Up Marriage?

When it comes to “conservatives,” the answer is “SILENCE.” Did any PA Republican Congressman release a statement concerning the decision by the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) not to take up any of the marriage cases before them? Did Senator Pat Toomey weigh in? Media reports that we’ve seen show only two elected officials in Washington blasted the SCOTUS decision — Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.
Senator Cruz has said he will introduce a constitutional amendment that would keep the courts out of a state’s right to define marriage. The Tenth Amendment is in the Constitution for a reason! It says ” The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” But, who reads the Constitution anymore??
