Major League Baseball Punishes Georgia for Voter Integrity Law
Details
As you have heard, Georgia has passed a sweeping law that will help bring election integrity to the state. The liberals are not happy and are determined to misrepresent want the law is! Because of these distortions and pressure from leftist groups some corporations have announced “displeasure” over Georgia’s efforts to “disenfranchise voters.” Of course, making elections more secure is always defined by the Left as “disenfranchisement”!
In fact, Major League Baseball (MLB) has decided to punish the state by pulling July’s All-Star Game out of the state. This will cost the state hundreds of millions of dollars. Additional major companies threatening Georgia over their new voter integrity law include Coke-Cola and Delta Airlines. Today the Georgia GOP requested all Coco-Cola products be removed from the GOP office suite in the State Capital. On April 1st the Georgia House voted to strip Delta Air Lines of tens of millions in tax breaks.
PA Senators Jay Costa and Wayne Fontana have contacted MLB Commissioner Bob Manfred inviting him to Pittsburgh for the All-Star Game. It appears he may not take up the invitation, but we need to let him know we don’t want him in Pennsylvania!
Action Steps
Voter integrity is critical to our representative republic! Corporations should not be acting as political entities — putting pressure on states that pass laws the Left doesn’t like — , but we see that happening across the country.
Contact MLB to express your displeasure with their actions in Georgia and to let them know we don’t want unpatriotic sports leagues here in PA either. You may also consider boycotting some of MLB’s major sponsors, which include Geico, Chevy, Taco Bell, T-Mobile, Gatorade, Barbasol, Flonase, Kingsford, Oxi-Clean.
You can contact MLB’s customer support line at 866-800-1275 or email here
