More Than 200 Congressmen Ask Supreme Court to Revisit Roe v. Wade
Details
More than 200 members of Congress — 166 House Republicans and 39 Senate Republicans have signed an amicus brief (friend-of-the-court brief) asking the US Supreme Court to reconsider the Roe v. Wade decision. Only two Democrats signed on – Rep. Collin Peterson of Minnesota and Rep. Daniel Lipinski of Illinois. Lipinski faces a primary challenge from a “progressive Democrat” and pro-abortion advocates have demonstrated at and infiltrated his congressional office to get their point across that they don’t like his signature being on that brief! It’s very hard to find pro-life Democrats anymore.
All PA GOP members signed on except Brian Fitzpatrick (R-1).
