President Biden called for the spending of trillions more of our tax dollars! As Senator Scott noted, only one percent of the $2 trillion February “relief” bill went to vaccinations and there was no requirement to promptly open schools. He also noted that less than six percent of the “infrastructure” bill actually goes to infrastructure like roads and bridges. His truth telling about the new Georgia voting law and his failed attempt to get police reform passed last year due to Democrats using the filibuster garnered a lot of push back, but his insistence that, although he has faced racial discrimination, America is NOT a racist nation probably caused the Democrats the most angst.
The attacks against him began immediately. As a result of the speech, he’s been called “Uncle Tim,” the N-word and other derogatory names by Progressives. As he notes in his speech, these type attacks from Progressives are not new! So much for the “tolerant ones.”
