Details
1.) Today the Pentagon withdrew its invitation to Franklin Graham to participate in the National Day of Prayer event. Click here for the full story.
2.) Senator Chris Dodds bill – SB 3217 – will create even more government bureaucracy including the formation of a Financial Stability Oversight Council and the Office of Financial Research. It also provides for a $50 billion fund, collected in advance from large financial firms, that will be used for the resolution process. i.e. ‘bailouts forever’! 3.) On April 8th I visited Congressman Glenn Thompson at his Titusville office to talk to him about the need for a Parental Rights Amendment to the US Constitution and to ask him to become a co-sponsor. He agreed and became the 134th co-sponsor of H.J. Res. 42! That means five of PA’s 19 Congressmen have signed on. They are: Congressmen Tim Murphy, Joe Pitts, Todd Russell Platts, Bill Shuster, and Glenn Thompson. Click here to read why we need a Parental Rights Amendment.
