If You Want Your Vote to Count!
Details
Warnings from an activist in Westmoreland County after meeting with that county’s Election Bureau:
- DO NOT select the straight party option. INSTEAD, if you choose to vote Republican, hand select each Republican name. SUPPOSEDLY, that could possibly trigger a vote to “flip” to the Democrat.
- DO REVIEW your selections before you hit “CONFIRM.”
- DO NOT LEAVE the machine until you see “THANK YOU FOR VOTING.”
IF you leave before seeing the “THANK YOU” message, the machine inspector is REQUIRED to CANCEL YOUR VOTE!!!!
Action Steps
If you experience any irregularity, alert the machine inspector immediately. Get the inspector’s name and let Susanna DeJeet know as she is collecting and recording every mishap that threatens the security of your vote. Her email address is OSusanna22@comcast.net
