1.) Upper Moreland School District wants to regulate flags/banners that fly on school flag poles, but they will not consider a Christian flag as they view it as a violation of the separation of church and state.

2.) State Rep Stephenie Scialabba plans to introduce legislation that prohibits state funded institutions from requiring the completion of diversity courses.

3.) State Rep Melissa Shusterman plans to introduce legislation that would prohibit crisis pregnancy centers from receiving government money because she claims they engage in deceptive practices.

News From National Scene

1.) A former case manager at the Washington University Transgender Center at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital has reported the troubling things she saw during her employment there.

2.) Harvard Medical School is adding climate change to its curriculum.

3.) Harvard Medical School has several troubling courses, including “Alternative Sexualities in Health Care: Providing Affirmative Care for Patients Who Engage in BDSM, Kink, Fetish, Swinging, Ethical Non-Monogamy, Polyamory and Open Arrangements.”

4.) Another Harvard Medical School course is “Advancing Excellency in Transgender Health” offered by the Fenway Institute, an LGBT advocacy organization.

5.) The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation’s largest LGBTQ lobby group, the National Education Association and the National Association of School Librarians presented the eight annual “Welcoming Schools National Day of Reading” which features pro-LGBTQ books targeting children Pre-K through 12th grade.
