Both the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice have let down the President! They did not fight for his ban on transgenders in the military. When federal circuit courts, which have no constitutional authority to determine policy for the military, put a stay on the President’s ban, an immediate emergency appeal to the US Supreme Court should have been forthcoming. That did not happen and now the DOD is saying they are waiting until February 21st for the results of a study by a “Panel of Experts.” This panel is led by someone who has already defied the President and held an official ‘gay pride’ event at the Pentagon in June! How can we expect an unbiased report from such a panel??
