The New York Daily News said, “after yet another mass shooting in America, GOP presidential contenders were conspicuously silent on the issue of gun control. Instead, the Republicans were preaching about prayer.”
Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy tweeted out, “Your “thoughts” should be about steps to take to stop this carnage. Your “prayers” should be for forgiveness if you do nothing – again.”
The Huffington Post published a headline and subhead that read: Another Mass Shooting, Another Deluge of Tweeted Prayers — Seems to have been an ineffective strategy so far.

News Release – World AIDS Day What Have We Learned?

World AIDS Day was first established in 1988 by the World Health Organization to unite communities to fight against HIV/AIDS. The US theme for 2015 is “The Time to Act is Now.” The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocate for Biblical morality, abstinence until marriage and faithfulness within marriage, agrees that the time to act is now, but the first step is the need for honesty.
