Action Alert – Opting Your Child Out of PSSAs and Keystones

It is well known that the only reason available for parents to opt their children out of the PSSA’s and/or the Keystone exams is if they find that the test(s) are in conflict with their religious beliefs. In order to establish this, the parent has to follow a specified procedure that involves (1) contacting the school administrator; (2) viewing the test; (3) signing a confidentiality agreement; and finally, (4)notifying the district Superintendent that you are opting out your child because of religious beliefs.

The chief promoter and organizer of the Gay Day of Silence is the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which says students “take a vow of silence to bring attention to anti-LGBT name calling, harassment and bullying in their schools.” GLSEN provides information, resources and, for minimal purchase price, materials for students to use during the Day of Silence. This is an anti-bullying ploy, with a real goal of gaining sympathy and support for those students who identify as homosexual or transgender.

Colorado Civil Rights Division has ruled that Christian bakers cannot turn down a pro-homosexual “marriage” message, but a baker that supports same-sex “marriage” can turn down a pro-Biblical marriage message because it is hateful and bigoted. By the way, Colorado has an “anti-discrimination” law that includes the words “sexual orientation” and that is what was used to sue Masterpiece Cake. Here in PA, if HB 300 or SB 30 is passed we will see the same type attacks against Christian business owners.

One week ago today freedom of religion was reinforced in Indiana, but now the legislature has bowed to the threats of homosexual activists and their allies and taken the pieces of silver offered by corporations. On another Thursday night two thousand years, a man named Judas took thirty pieces of silver from influential leaders to betray his friend to his death and today Indiana legislatures took the silver promised by corporate bullies and betrayed their friends, their citizens, to the death of their religious freedom in the Hoosier state.

Liberal comedian Bill Maher has dubbed them the “gay mafia” and the qualities they least emulate are open-mindedness and tolerance. As we see homosexual activists and their allies descend upon Indianapolis with their utter hatred, vitriol, and despise for those who seek to protect the rights of conscience of Indiana citizens, they have proven they are homo-fascists. Their intentions are all too clear: this is a one way street and there will be no discussion permitted that does not fall into their line of thinking — no values, no thoughts can exist without their approval.
