On Saturday Governor-elect Tom Wolf began paying back the homosexual, bisexual and transgender Pennsylvanians who voted for him. He named transgender Rachel Levine to be his physician general. Dr. Levine is a professor at Penn State College of Medicine and currently sits on the board of Equality PA, which worked extensively for Wolf’s election.

A few days ago, Governor-elect Tom Wolf announced he wants Pedro Cortes to be his Secretary of State. One of the responsibilities of the Secretary of State is to oversee individual physicians, inspect abortion facilities and enforce safety regulations in PA. A grand jury investigation in January 2011 found that the Secretary of State had repeatedly ignored evidence and closed investigations even in the midst of escalating complaints about Gosnell’s abortion clinic.
