The war on words in the environmental debate over “global warming,” now called “climate change” had moved beyond mere words to government actions such as banning all incandescent light bulbs by 2014 and mandating the use of compact florescent lighting in U.S. homes; demanding an average standard of 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025 for cars and light-duty trucks; and capturing methane from dairy cows to reduce greenhouse gas.
