Catherine Lhamon’s radical interpretation of Title IX to include ‘sexual orientation and gender identity’ places all students, but especially female students, at risk. Lhamon is okay with allowing boys in girls’ bathrooms, locker and shower rooms and forcing school staff to use the ‘correct pronoun’ when addressing a student who identifies as the opposite sex.

The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), a statewide advocacy organization, was appalled that the writers of the letter called concerned parents and taxpayers domestic terrorist who were committing hate crimes against school board members. Our hope was that this view was not shared by other state affiliates of the NSBA nor elected school board members and we were thrilled that the PA School Boards Association (PSBA) has cut ties with the NSBA.
