As we’re celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday, there are still a lot of misconceptions as to who the Founding Fathers were, what was their character, what was their real intent when they signed the Declaration of Independence and fought the War for Independence. And I must say, by and large, the public school system is not helping in accurately answering those questions. And then we have efforts like the 1619 Project to further undermine our nation’s founding. But today we’re going to talk about some of our nation’s heroes and the real roots of the founding of the United States of America.
