Small Town Targeted:  Typical Intimidation Tactics Used by Homosexual Activists

(Franklin) –   No one dare speak out against those living the homosexual lifestyle or they are deemed bigoted and homophobic bullies  – even in small town USA.  This scenario is playing out across Pennsylvania, but Coudersport, Potter County, is the scene tonight where homosexual activists Joe Wilson and Dean Hamer will be showing their documentary “Out in the Silence” over the objection of that town’s residents.  The American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA), target of the one-sided documentary, notes that Wilson and Hamer view any objection to their agenda as a threat.

Residents of Coudersport have expressed concerns to the tax-payer funded public library about the showing of this propaganda piece in their town.  The complaints have prompted Joe Wilson to contact the State Police, the media and the PA Human Rights Commission.  These are typical intimidation tactics,” noted Diane Gramley, president of the AFA of PA.

The filming of this documentary began after Wilson and Hamer had their ‘wedding announcement’ published in the local Oil City Derrick.  As letters to the editor opposing the paper’s action began pouring in, Wilson began looking up the phone numbers of the writers and calling them asking if they wanted to be in their documentary.  Sometimes if he didn’t get a satisfactory answer he and Hamer would show up on doorsteps unannounced and with camera in hand.   The AFA of PA’s warning to all who contacted us about being in the documentary was to not participate because Hamer and Wilson would twist what was said and done to say what they wanted.   This warning has proven accurate.  Wilson called Gramley’s home numerous times and even after talking for two to three hours, she would not agree to be part of the documentary.  It was not until August 2006 when AFA of PA supporters picketed Governor Rendell at the Oil Heritage Parade that Hamer and Wilson were able to run Gramley down and get her on camera for the first time.

“There is only one purpose for the production of this documentary and that is to be used as a propaganda tool to normalize the homosexual lifestyle and to claim victimhood.  Wilson and Hamer are good at distorting and/or ignoring the facts to push their agenda.  They distorted the role the AFA of PA played in the Franklin School District situation as well as the opening of the Latonia.  Facts didn’t play into what they wanted the story to tell, so they rearranged and distorted it,” Gramley explained.

To read the Franklin School District and Latonia letters referred to in the documentary click here.

The documentary was first shown last July at the first statewide GLSEN Youth conference in Pittsburgh and then targeted university campuses all last fall.  This year has brought their ‘community outreach’ campaign by showing it at public libraries.  The endorsement by the American Library Association (ALA) comes as no surprise since they deem all material acceptable to all people.  “(the) right to use a library” includes free access to, and unrestricted use of, all the services, materials, and facilities the library has to offer. Every restriction on access to, and use of, library resources, based solely on the chronological age, educational level, literacy skills, or legal emancipation of users violates Article V.”    Additionally, the ALA has its own “Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Round Table.”

“Out in the Silence” is simply a homosexual propaganda piece and communities who stand up for decency in opposing its showing will be declared bigoted and homophobic by homosexual activists Joe Wilson and Dean Hamer.

Okey dokey. Did a little research.

First, immediately upon learning of the film “Out in the Silence” here on this site last week, I tracked it down on YouTube and watched the entire thing. As I posted on the OITS thread, it is clearly a smooth, professionally-produced propaganda film. Michael Moore could learn from it. His propaganda is entertaining but sophomoric and obvious.

Next, I see that the screenings are scheduled as follows:

    COUDERSPORT, PA July 28 tonight
(Coudersport is a “small farming community”, yes, but it is the COUNTY SEAT of Potter County)

    SMETHPORT, PA July 29
(Smethport is smaller yet BUT it is the COUNTY SEAT of McKean County)

    EMPORIUM, PA July 30
(Emporium is the COUNTY SEAT of Cameron County)

OK. Hard not to notice a pattern there, isn’t it?

Now bear in mind that I proved through my own research previously that the homosexual, homosexual activist, and Chairman of the PA Human Relations Commission, Stephen A. Glassman, is engaged in a concerted campaign of his own to get ordinances put in place in every municipality in PA that protect so-called ‘sexual orientation and gender identity’ and establish municipal Commissions to enforce and adjudicate violations of these ordinances. Just read the article here about Doylestown to see for yourself how it is being done.

As I also pointed out previously, next on the agenda after Doylestown are Lower Merion Township and Radnor Township, the preeminent townships in Mongomery and Delaware Counties respectively. In both Townships, an ‘individual’ citizen ‘just looking to make a difference’ popped up out of nowhere recently (within one week of each other)and petitioned their Commissioners to consider one of these ordinances.

So it looks to me as though this propaganda film is designed to soften up the opposition they expect to encounter in the smaller, more traditional communities and that when Glassman is finished his business in Montco and Delco, ‘individuals looking to make a difference’ will pop up one-by-one in the County Seats of Potter, McKean, and Cameron County, petitioning their borough councils for an ordinance. Glassman will appear, as he has before, when the laws are under consideration to provide a ‘model ordinance’ and any other ‘assistance’ that he can.

I hope that others take the trouble to connect the dots and see for themselves what a devious and calculated campaign is taking place. And while you are at it, take the time to research how these appearingly fair-minded laws can be twisted in their application and used as tools of vengeance such as the campaign in Philadelphia to wreck the Boy Scouts financially.

Please see my local news website for Coudersport at http://coudynews.com/?p=5405 in regards to the screening of ‘Out In The Silence’ at our local theater, and the false reports made by the filmmakers.

Not only did these men come to our small and normally peaceful town and stir up controversy and animosity, but they treated heterosexuals here as if something was wrong with THEM!

I attended the film and was heckled out of the library by gay activists after Joe Wilson lied to me and then refused to answer my questions as to why he took an article out of context on CoudyNews.com and used it to file false reports of ‘threats’ and ‘promises of large protests’.

Personally I feel Mr. Wilson and Mr. Dean committed a crime by filing such false reports. What a waste of our community tax dollars, paying for unneeded police protection.

See my article for a full review of what happened at our normally peaceful library.

  3. Coudersport and Potter County! Whatever your feeling are about the issue of “same-sex marriage”, how do like being lied to? How do like being treated as “gullible hicks” by shady characters, who distort the truth, assassinate the characters of local people, churches, and Pastors? How do you like your police department given false information? How do you like your media manipulated to create sensationalism for the purpose of a political agenda?

Diane Gramley of the American Family Association of Pa. was made the villain on the documentary simply because she would not participate in it. But that did not stop Wilson and Hammer from using every technique at their disposal to make her the enemy. Wilson and Hammer can create villains wherever one is needed by the careful use of sound bites, video clips and innuendo. If that’s not good enough they will create false stories.

Diane Gramley writes, “This past fall Hamer and Wilson began showing their completed “documentary” on some Public Television stations and in colleges and universities across Pennsylvania, as well as in some locations outside PA. A closer look at their website shows that Pennsylvania is being used as a guinea pig to try out their ‘Community Engagement Campaign.”

I spoke to Diane over the phone and was informed that these tactics were similar to those used by Wilson and Hammer in Oil City. Diane was accused in the documentary of calling for a boycott of the Theater owned by a Lesbian couple. That was another false claim made by Wilson and Hammer. Diane never called for a boycott. But in similar manner, Wilson and Hammer called local media, the Human Rights Commission and Local Police because of threatened protests. Of course such protests never materialized.

Coudersport, you have just experienced Wilson and Hammer’s ‘Community Engagement Campaign’. How did it taste?

BE CAREFUL SMETHPORT AND EMPORIUM, THESE MANIPULATORS ARE COMING YOUR WAY NEXT.

Diane Gramley needs to eat some puXXy and get it over with. The poor thing.

The AFA of PA has edited Betsy’s comment as we prefer not posting obscene comments. Hers is simply another example of intolerance from those crying ‘tolerance’ the loudest.
